My name is Aaron Mark Henry. Yeah I know 3 first names. I got a lot of crap about that growing up; maybe that’s why eventually everyone who knew me started calling me Mickey. Growing up in the south often folks are called by our middle name, so Mark just morphed into Mickey. I didn’t much care. Mickey suited me fine. I guess I had a typical life growing up in the eastern suburbs of Atlanta. I wasn’t a good student but I wasn’t a bad one either. I wasn’t into sports but I was athletic and I could do just about any sport I tried pretty well, they just didn’t interest me much. I guess I didn’t like all the rules and the commitment stuff. I was much happier doing my own thing. I guess now that I look back at those days I was pretty much of a loaner, although I didn’t think of myself in that way. I was always trying to be popular, hang with the cool kids, be part of the crowd, but in the back of my mind I always sort of knew that I wasn’t really there. I was a creative guy, I liked to draw, read comics especially superhero stories. I also play guitar and write music, and that got me a certain amount of attention. Guitar made me feel popular even though now that I look back I realize that most of my classmates considered me a geek and a wannabe cool guy, who just never really got there. I always remained on the fringe.
