The music on this album entitled Peace Pipe, features: Ex-Outlaws band guitarist Steve Grisham another member of Mp3Allies.com
Stan Williams composed this music and plays acoustic and electric guitars, bass, and keyboards and of course his favorite electric guitar, his old 50's relic Stratocaster.
Stan is currently working on new music that will is rather different from the style of this album, featuring more electric guitar riffs and rock oriented material and songs with lyrics that tell of the adventures of living life in the south, tales from from the road as well as lessons learned on the path of life and perhaps even a love song or two.
Stan is also working on another collection of instrumental music which like the songs on this album, doesn't quite fit into existing genres and will even include some "beats" or hip hop type musical pieces only with real instruments instead of electronically generated music, using real drums, bass, and guitar parts. Stan won a top ten song on Ourstage.com with the song Peace Pipe even though a few people said it did not fit into the genre, and did not really fit into any genre there in fact. The song Peace Pipe is currently at the time of this writing is still at number one in the Southern Rock charts at www.soundclick.com and has held that spot almost continuously for several months now, and the same song previously went to the number one position in the Country Rock chart, and six of these songs have held number one spots in the charts there in various genres.

Stan began learning to play guitar at an early age mainly playing gospel and bluegrass with his dad, then his mom bought him a drum set when he was 10 years old and when he was 12 years old he earned enough money repairing neighbors TV sets and radios to buy his own used bass guitar and around that same time he discovered the teaching album "Play Along with the Ventures" and became so enthused with learning to play that sometimes he would stay awake all night practicing quietly in his room without even realising he had been at it all night and have to go to school with no sleep! Some of Stan's earliest influences were The Ventures, The Eagles, Led Zeppelin, Bob Seger, Bad Company, FogHat, Pink Floyd, and Lynyrd Skynyrd to name just a few. At age 16 he began playing shows his first band, a local top 40 band called Midnight Special, Stan went on to play with a variety of bands of various styles from bluegrass to blues to heavy metal over the years.
